This is exactly double what you get in the Bakugan Starter Pack, and it’s a really good deal.

If you can get this item at retail prices, it’ll be the most cost-effective way to buy Bakugan toys. Two Bakugan Starter Packs retail for $15.99 each, whereas this is priced at $24.99. So you effectively get the same as two Starter Packs for about seven bucks less.

What do you do if you can’t get retail prices? Check Amazon, eBay or any of the large retailers. What I’d look at is how much each Bakugan and card costs. Prices of Bakugan online fluctuate and can vary quite a lot, so the Bakugan Battle Pack isn’t always the most cost-effective way to buy Bakugan. Sometimes the cost of the Battle Pack is more than double that of two Starter Packs, so I’d suggest you do some shopping around online. There are bargains out there.

You should buy this if:
1) Your little brawler has no Bakugan toys and wants to play either with you, or his siblings, or his friends.
If it’s within your budget, this is the best item to buy to get your kid playing the Bakugan game. It’ll give him a decent set of toys to start out and a card collection extensive enough to allow him to start devising some gameplay strategies.

2) Your little brawler wants to expand his collection of Bakugan toys
If you can get retail prices, this is the most cost-effective way to expand a collection of Bakugan toys and Bakugan cards. If not, then check the prices on Amazon and Ebay and go for the best deal.

You should NOT buy this if:
1) Your little brawler wants to expand his collection of Bakugan cards.
The Bakugan 5 Card Booster Pack is a better (and cheaper) alternative to this item.
2) Your little brawler wants a Bakugan toys of a specific colour.
The Single Colour Bakugan Starter Pack is what you should consider here. They are rarer and therefore cost a little more but are after all a more specialist item.
